The short version

We collect the profile details you give us (your name, email, and answers about your life, goals, and interests) to generate your daily personalized content. We send that content to your inbox. We never sell your data. You can ask us to delete it anytime.

Information we collect

When you subscribe, we collect your name and email address. When you fill out your profile, we collect whatever you choose to share, things like your goals, interests, and the general shape of your life, so our AI can write content that fits you. We also collect basic technical information, like your IP address and browser type, when you visit our site.

How we use your information

We use your profile to generate your daily story, quote, letter, reflection, or challenge. We use your email address to deliver that content and to send account and billing notices. We do not use your profile for anything beyond generating your content and improving how we generate it.

AI content generation

Your profile answers are sent to our AI content system to generate your daily content. This processing happens automatically. No one on our team reads your profile as part of routine operation, though our support team may access it if you contact us for help.

Payment processing

Subscriptions are processed securely through Gumroad. We do not store your card details ourselves, Gumroad handles billing and payment security directly.

Sharing your information

We never sell your data. We don't share your profile or content with advertisers or data brokers. We may share limited information with service providers who help us run the product, like our email delivery and payment providers, only as needed to operate the service.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your profile and account data for as long as your subscription is active. If you cancel, you can request full deletion by emailing us, and we'll permanently delete your profile and account data within 7 days.

Your rights

You can update your profile anytime from your account. You can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete it by emailing hello@theanotheryou.com. If you're in a region with specific data rights (like the EU or California), those rights apply to you in full, reach out and we'll help.

Cookies

We use a small number of essential cookies to keep you logged in and remember your preferences. We do not use cookies for third-party advertising.

Children's privacy

The Another You is not intended for anyone under 16. We don't knowingly collect information from children.

If we make meaningful changes to this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, let subscribers know by email.
